Lab 9


ACTIV PHYSICS: Gauss Law

I could go through every picture and explain what is happening, but it does not seem nessisary. 
This particular lab was dedicated to better our understanding of electric fields outside a charged object. In these examples they used a charged solid sphere as well as a charged hollow shell. 


The charge of the object cannot exceed the total charge. 


No charge exists withing the hollow shell. Only on the very surface with and outward flux. 


The electric field force increased within the charged object. Yet it's charge decreased because we are taking a smaller sphere into consideration
